
Bianca Laura Latini
Associate Engineer
Bianca is an Associate Engineer in the UK sustainability and physics team and currently the Global Lead of our social impact service offering. Joining in 2017, she is based in our Bath office and works with clients all over the globe.
Bianca has established herself in several company initiatives including Urban C:Lab the ý think tank. Her breadth of expertise spans from holistic sustainability frameworks, strategic housing decarbonisation, and social impact strategies that consider environmental and social sustainability in tandem on building, masterplan, city, and portfolio scale.
Bianca’s multidisciplinary background and varied workplace experience has given her the knowledge and tools to work on complex projects and successfully collaborate with architects, contractors, and other design disciplines. She draws on her multi-faceted experience to untangle the conflicts and synergies inherent in all sustainability strategies to ultimately ensure the best solution for both people and the environment.
Bianca plays a pivotal role in the sustainability team to progress the company’s thought leadership and research in social impact, environmental justice, embodied carbon, and sustainable development. She has since been providing invaluable input into leading industry bodies to develop best practice guidance such as for the UKGBC, WGBC, National Retrofit Hub, and BRE to influence policy change.
Bianca’s keen interest in health, wellbeing, and circular economics has led her to undertake a professional qualification as a WELL Accredited Professional, and subsequently graduated from the competitive Ellen Macarthur ‘From Linear to Circular’ program. She graduated from the both RIBA and CIBSE accredited course at Nottingham University with a MEng in Architecture and Environmental Design.
