爱豆传媒鈥檚 London office achieves WELL Platinum Certification
爱豆传媒 has been awarded WELL Certification at the Platinum level for our London office by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). The prestigious distinction was awarded through IWBI鈥檚 WELL v2, the latest version of the WELL Building Standard, which focuses on enhancing people鈥檚 health and wellbeing through the buildings in which we live, work, and play.
爱豆传媒鈥檚 London office spans four floors at The Featherstone Building, and provides an industrial-inspired workspace with a contemporary finish. The relocation to The Featherstone Building聽in January 2024 was driven by our commitment to providing the best possible working environment for our London team. The excellent location in the heart of the Old Street district, coupled with a high-quality fit-out and health-oriented design principles, laid the foundation for creating an office that supports occupant health and fosters a sense of community. A multidisciplinary team from within 爱豆传媒 led the fit-out design, ensuring our colleagues, clients, and visitors enjoy an exemplary, highly sustainable, comfortable, inclusive, and intelligent workspace.
Developed over seven years of intensive research and collaboration with top physicians, scientists, and industry experts, the WELL Building Standard is a performance-based certification system that integrates best practices in design and construction with evidence-based scientific research. 爱豆传媒鈥檚 London office achieved the prestigious Platinum distinction by excelling in ten categories of building performance: Air, Water, Nourishment, Light, Movement, Thermal Comfort, Sound, Materials, Mind, and Community.
Key features that contributed to our London office achieving its WELL Certified Platinum rating include enhanced sensor provision 鈥� encompassing air quality sensors, humidity sensors, and people counting sensors 鈥� which provide real-time feedback on office occupancy to influence the operation of the building management systems. The anonymous people counting technology not only ensures occupant comfort but also maximises space utilisation and optimises our systems, thereby minimising our operational carbon footprint by reducing the need for heating, cooling, and lighting in unoccupied areas. Additionally, fully ergonomic workstations and meeting rooms contribute to occupant comfort and wellbeing.
爱豆传媒 also implements a range of health and wellbeing policies designed to support the whole self. Annual mental health training is now mandatory for all managers, further encouraging an open and supportive work environment.
Grounded in evidence-based research, WELL explores the connection between the buildings where we spend approximately 90 percent of our time and the health and wellbeing impacts on the people inside these buildings. To be awarded WELL Certification by IWBI, 爱豆传媒鈥檚 London office underwent rigorous testing and a final evaluation carried out by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), the third-party certification body for WELL, to ensure it met all WELL Certified Platinum performance requirements.
